Naturally, the Broadmoor not only boasts fabulous full sized houses but also townhouses. They are available in both villa and traditional ranch style, and were mostly constructed in the 1980s and 1990s. Some of the townhouses on the market have been remodeled and updated.

Schools The Broadmoor real estate area school district is Cheyenne Mountain School District No.12. Your children will have the option of attending Cantilelon Elementary School or Broadmoor Elementary School, before attending Cheyenne Mountain Middle School and finally Cheyenne Mountain High School.
Neighboring Communities To the west of the Broadmoor subdivision is Broadmoor Heights, another real estate district. Then to the east you have the Broadmoor Hills real estate area. Down south you can find the Broadmoor Mountain Course as well as the Mountain Corse pond.
Commuting Because the Broadmoor subdivision is just off Highway 115 it allows for quick access and has made it a choice for Colorado Springs military relocation. There are many homes located near Fort Carson, which is approximately 10 minutes by car to the Main Gate, or five and a half miles. Recreational Activities The Broadmoor is home to the spectacular Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, resting just on the west border. The zoo sits on 146 acres and has over 550 animals residing there. It boasts a carousel, a tram and even a miniature train sure to delight young and old alike.
If you enjoy golf then you will feel totally at home when visiting the Broadmoor Golf Club. A prominent course, it came into existence in 1918, along with the Boradmoor Hotel. Providing three 18 hole courses; The East Course, Mountain Course and West Course there is something for everyone. The Mountain Course is the most recent addition, having only been established recently in 2006. The clubhouse was also replaced in 1994 and is now a very respectable 90,000 square feet. It houses a spa, indoor pool and a fitness center. The Broadmoor Gold Club plays host to various important tournaments, including the U.S. Senior Open Championship, and in 2011 will host the Women’s Open Championship.
Only a stone’s throw away from the Southgate Shopping Centre, the Broadmoor makes it easy to go shopping, or just visit your favorite local restaurant.
